Small businesses flourish in Atlanta

Atlanta is among the friendliest cities in the nation for small businesses.

It's the third year in a row thumbtack.com surveyed thousands of small businesses to get its results. For the second year in a row, Atlanta gets an A- for its small business friendliness, landing it in the country's top ten.

Over 50% of small business owners say they're paying the right share of taxes, and the city gets high marks for its environmental regulations, as well.

But some small business owners say the state's licensing rules could use some help. Some owners also say the state's training and networking programs are lagging behind.

Georgia also earned an A- for its overall friendliness.
