Gwinnet County Police investigators are looking for leads in an early morning homicide outside a Norcross apartment complex.
Cpl. Ed Ritter says that one man was found dead of a gunshot wound and another was found a short distance away with severe head injuries.
"They did arrive in a car and walked up to this area," he says. "Their vehicle was discovered at a strip mall next to the apartment complex."
They are described as white males in their mid-to-late twenties.
The two were discovered just after 7 a.m. outside of Building F at the Celadon Townhome Apartments.
One resident who didn't want to be identified lives across the courtyard from where the two were found and is shocked something like that could happen there.
"It's a nice area... everyone goes to work and says 'hi' and 'bye' and walk our dogs," he says. "Something like that is new and shocking in this area."
Ritter says investigators are talking with the injured man hoping to find a motive and suspects in the case.
