A Cornelia woman arrested for building pipe bombs now faces drug charges.
25-year-old Celia Savage faces multiple drug counts after arresting officers found methamphetamine, Alprazolam (Xanax) and synthetic marijuana when she was pulled over at McEver and Friendship Roads in Hall County Saturday night.
Savage is also charged with DUI, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. The Flowery Branch police chief tells the Gainesville Times, she damaged furniture at a tattoo parlor on McEver Road.
Savage was still wearing her ankle monitor when she was arrested. This probation violation could send her to federal prison.
WSB has been following the Savage case since her arrest in 2012 after federal agents discovered pipe bombs and firearms at her home in Cornelia. She pleaded guilty the following year to two firearms charges. U.S. District Judge Richard Story sentenced Savage to six years' federal probation.
