The mayor is not happy with this weekend's Confederate flag parade through part of Dalton.

"I'm upset about it," Mayor Dennis Mock tells WSB.  "It incites and excites folks to think things and do things they shouldn't be doing."

The parade was Sunday, and cellphone videos posted online show what appear to be dozens of SUV's, trucks, and a few cars flying Confederate battle flags with some American flags mixed in.

"I'm recording this *!@! right now!" announces the unidentified man taking the cellphone video.  "They got a God#*@!! Confederate flag!  This is some bull*+@$!!"

One video that went viral features somewhat colorful narration and a surprise ending.

The video was taken at a Mapco gas station on Riverbend Road.

Contrary to some reports, Mayor Mock says police were not actively blocking streets or assisting the parade.  He says officers were "just making sure that the participants were staying on the route they said there were going to be on."

Toward the end of the video, the man announces "Oh, they're about to wreck!"", and indeed, seconds later one truck loudly plows into the back of another, much to the delight of the unseen narrator.

"BOOM! BOOM!  Oh I got that!"

"God don't like ugly," he concludes his description.  "God do not like ugly".

The soundtrack also features what sounds like a small dog, yapping through the proceedings.
