PITTSBURGH — A drug-sniffing dog in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, found $250,000 worth of cocaine that was headed to Erie.

Jonathan Vargas, 33, is now facing federal charges.

Police said the package had a return address in Puerto Rico and when it arrived in Pittsburgh, it was flagged.

Once the package was accepted, police arrested Vargas during a traffic stop.

Police said cocaine was found inside the package, replaced with a fake powder and then continued its delivery to Erie.

They said they also found a gun and $12,000 in cash inside his house.
