Coronavirus: San Antonio bingo hall will allow customers to play from cars

SAN ANTONIO — Bingo enthusiasts in San Antonio can now fill out their cards from behind the wheel.

Bingo halls were allowed to reopen on a limited capacity basis Friday under Phase 2 of the Reopen Plan, KABB reported. Northeast Bingo's owners decided to implement the game from its parking lot, allowing daubers to win from outside the hall, the television station reported.

Northeast Bingo said it would operate at 25% inside its facility and designate 26 parking spaces for its car bingo.

"Pull up in your car, park in a designated spot out there and play bingo in your vehicle," Kris Keller, of Northeast Bingo, told KABB. "The numbers will come over your radio. You have to do the computer out there, the balls will pop up on your machine, everything."

People who go inside the facility to play will have their temperatures taken, the television station reported.
