An armed robbery suspect is being treated at Grady for a gunshot wound after a patron at a Union City restaurant shoots him.
It happened on Jonesboro Rd, just off I-85 early this morning. The armed man walked into the Waffle House demanding cash and waving his pistol.
Shortly after that the customer pulled his own gun and shot the man.
Neither the customer nor gunman has been identified.
Police tell WSB's Richard Sangster there were no other injuries.
