Women facing charges after setting Cobb church on fire, threatening pastor

COBB COUNTY, GA — A woman is now facing charges for setting a church on fire in Cobb County.

Aries Jordan is charged with arson and terroristic threats.

Police say Jordan intentionally set the fire that burned Prayer City Eagles Chapel International Ministries in Austell.

She’s also accused of sending threatening text messages to the pastor. The church suffered about $4M in damage.
