GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A woman faces murder charges in connection with a fatal drug overdose in metro Atlanta.
Gwinnett County Police officials say a victim was found at a home on Wetlands Court in Lawrenceville.
During the investigation, detectives identified 48-year-old Tanika Tavares as the suspected source of the drugs.
Tavares faces numerous charges including murder and aggravated involuntary manslaughter.
The identity of the victim was not released.
