ATLANTA — Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to visit metro Atlanta Wednesday as early voting continues across Georgia ahead of the November midterm elections.
Vance is expected to meet with supporters at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport later Wednesday morning as part of the Republican Party’s campaign efforts in the state.
His visit comes ahead of President Donald Trump’s scheduled rally Friday in Dalton, northwest Georgia.
The rally will mark Trump’s third visit to Georgia this year as Republicans continue campaigning ahead of the November election.
Meanwhile, former Vice President Kamala Harris is also expected to visit Georgia later this month.
Harris is scheduled to attend an event with Fulton County Democrats on October 30.
The campaign visits come as Georgians begin casting their ballots during the state’s early voting period.
