DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrests man wanted for murdering his cousin

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has arrested a fugitive wanted for murder in DeKalb County.

38-year-old Raphael Sims of Stone Mountain was taken into custody in Chamblee for shooting his cousin, 25-year-old Geremy Sims multiple times, killing him.

The murder occurred on North Hairston Road in Stone Mountain on November 3.

There is no word on a motive.

Sims was transported to the DeKalb County Jail without incident where he’s being held without bond.
