HENRY COUNTY, GA — An investigation is underway after a toddler died in a fire at a townhome in Henry County.
According to the Henry County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was identified as 2-year-old Jametrius Dillard.
Fire officials were able to get the toddler out. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. According to officials, the boy was trapped inside a bedroom at the townhome.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
