Police search for a trio of thieves who hit at least 3 places of worship on Easter Sunday

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Police are searching for a trio of thieves who robbed three different places of worship on Easter Sunday.

The first robbery took place on Shiloh Road and the thieves were able to get away with $14,000 dollars.

The group also hit two other temples in neighboring jurisdictions that day.

According to investigators, they are looking for two women and one man.

The man worked as a decoy while the women stole cash and a safe containing several thousands of dollars.

A temple in Lilburn also was targeted where thieves did the same exact thing.

The women are likely in their 20′s or 30′s. The male suspect is described to be 6 feet tall, with a heavy build and a very thick foreign accent and was dressed in all white.

Thieves were spotted driving away in a gold Mercedes.
