A major part of the indictment against Andrea Sneiderman is centered on her statements to police and her testimony in the trial of Hemy Neuman, the man who admitted killing her husband.
At one point during the trial, Andrea Sneiderman turned on Neuman.
"He was stalking me; he's a predator," she testified.
But the grand jury indictment specifically called that statement a lie.
Sneiderman is also accused of racketeering and theft after accepting a $2 million payout on her late husband's life insurance policy.
According to the indictment, “The object of the conspiracy was to obtain United States currency through acts which constitute criminal attempt to commit murder, insurance fraud, false statements and perjury.”
