Teen imprisoned by parents is improving

The 18-year old who says he was imprisoned in his Paulding County bedroom for four years is reportedly improving.

"He actually gained about ten pounds last week," says Paulding Sheriff's Cpl. Ashley Henson.  Mitch Comer weighed just 97 pounds when he was discovered at an L.A. bus station.

The teen's only request was to get some eyeglasses, replacing those taken away from him four years ago.  A local eye doctor gave him a free exam and donated the glasses.

Meanwhile, investigators have traveled to Kentucky to talk to family members of Paul Comer, and family members of Sheila Comer traveled to Paulding County to meet with investigators.

Corporal Ashley Henson tells WSB's Jennifer Griffies, "Basically, what they are trying to do it get a sense of why this abuse may have occurred."
