SOUTH FULTON, GA — Out of an abundance of caution, a postal facility in South Fulton was evacuated after reports of an explosive device was found there Thursday morning.
However, once the device was taken from the scene and destroyed in a controlled demolition, it was determined that there were no explosive materials present.
Police say this is not the first incident at this same facility. In fact, this is at least the third time an device has been found at the facility located at 125 Villanova Drive.
The South Fulton Police Department is actively investigating the source and circumstances surrounding this incident.
