ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA — A metro Atlanta area sheriff’s office announced an update in a case of skeletal remains discovered in November 2025.
On Nov. 14, 2025, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office responded to a wooded area near Honey Creek Road and Tucker Mill Road regarding skeletal remains discovered.
At the time of the initial investigation, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said the age, race, and identity of the juvenile were unknown.
Through DNA testing, investigators in metro Atlanta determined the child was male and of Sub-Saharan ancestry.
