Police say a Sandy Springs police officer has been rushed to the hospital after an officer-involved shooting.
The incident happened in a residential area.
Authorities told media that the suspect was also taken to the hospital.
While police have not released the officer’s identity, authorities did confirm that they will hold a news conference as soon as possible this morning to release more information.
It is unclear if the officer was shot.
