More rain in store for metro Atlanta

The rainy pattern of the last few days in metro Atlanta continued Sunday, and will for a few more days to come.

A flash flood watch is in place for some north Georgia counties extending until 8 a.m. Monday.

WSB Radio meteorologist Christina Edwards says there’s a 70% chance for showers on Monday. Scattered to widespread thunderstorm coverage will dominate the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday. But make plans for a sunny day by Thursday with a refreshing high of 72 degrees, and lows into the low 50′s.
