ATLANTA — The prices of the popular weight loss drugs Wegovy and Ozempic are being lowered beginning on Monday.
The drug’s maker announced that the monthly cost for each of the two drugs is now $349. That is down from $499 for those who are not using insurance.
New pricing is “part of a larger strategy to expand access,” officials said.
The weight loss drugs will be available at the new prices at 70,000 pharmacies, including pharmacies at Walmart and Costco.
