A popular pre-workout supplement is being recalled after testing revealed an ingredient that could increase the risk of serious cardiovascular problems, including heart attacks.
Three flavors of Rapture pre-workout supplements were found to contain DMAA, a substance that can cause elevated blood pressure and other cardiovascular complications.
The potential health risks include heart attacks, shortness of breath and chest tightness.
The recall affects three flavors of Rapture pre-workout:
- Electric Lemonade
- Berry
- Rainbow Twist
The affected products were sold online and in stores between January 2025 and May 2026.
Customers who purchased the recalled supplements are urged to stop using them immediately and return the products for a refund.
