Bold: New update
Police have been informed that suspect Robert Bell may be traveling to Chicago, Ill., Albany, Ga., or Crossville, Tenn. Police also believe all of the victims were intentionally shot, and also report victims had multiple gunshot wounds.
Gwinnett County Police investigators are searching for the roommate of a murdered woman, one of four victims who were shot at a home on Anderson Livesy Road in unincorporated Snellville Sunday night.
Angelina Benton, 34, was found outside the residence as was her boyfriend 23-year-old Justin Cato, the only survivor.
Benton's 12-year-old son, Joseph McDonald, and family friend 19-year-old, Raynord Daniel, were found shot to death inside the house.
Cpl. Jake Smith tells WSB's Sandra Parrish they are looking for 33-year-old Robert Bell who, along with his wife, had moved in with Benton two weeks ago.
"As recently a last night, everyone seemed to get along fine to point where Mr. Bell went and helped pick up Miss Benton, the deceased victim, out of town," says Smith.
At some point, police received a 911 call from a neighbor who reported seeing Bell chase Benton around the yard with a gun. They also received a call from Cato after he was wounded.
Smith says Bell left his black SUV at the scene with the suspected murder weapon, an assault-style riffle, inside. His keys were found as well.
"We speculate, now, he might have lost his keys in the incident," he says.
Smith says Bell was seen walking away from the scene.
Police have accounted for Bell's wife, Danielle, and she is no longer being sought by police.
Investigators are currently talking with Cato, but so far have no motive for the shootings.
