Police make second arrest in Conyers shooting case

(CONYERS, Ga.) — In an update to a story that’s been covered on WSB Radio, Conyers Police announced today that they’ve made a second arrest in the InSuites motel shooting in Rockdale County.

33-year-old Dontavious Hardeman was found shot to death in a truck in the parking lot of the motel on June 4. Of the two suspects, one juvenile turned himself in on Monday, and a second was arrested today.

Sgt. Quantavis Garcia told WSB’s Jennifier Griffies that both suspects seem to have known Hardeman, but a motive remains unclear.
