DeKalb County police are investigating after a fight broke out at Towers High School Tuesday morning.
The school was placed on lockdown. School officials said the situation is now under control.
WSB was at the scene, where there were at least two police cars and an ambulance outside the school entrance.
WSB′s Tyisha Fernandes was at the school Tuesday morning, working to learn what led up to the fight. Fernandes talked to one person who said she was visiting the school to have a meeting with administrators about a fight her 9th-grader was involved in, when a new fight broke out.
Another parent told Fernandes that the school’s principal was injured during the brawl. We’re working to determine the extent of her injuries.
