ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta police and Atlanta fire department shut down the I-75/85 downtown connector, blocking all lanes in both directions for hours on Friday evening.
Due to the ongoing backups, WSB’s Triple Team Traffic advises to use Northside Drive, Peachtree Street, or I-285 as alternate routes.
Police were on scene after being called in to talk a man off an overpass.
It is unclear when the connector will be fully open.
