GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — An investigation is underway after a deadly house fire in Lilburn on Friday morning.
Gwinnett County firefighters responded to a fire in the 300 block Village Green Court around 5:30 a.m.
The first 911 caller reported she had gotten out of the home, but two others were still inside.
By the time firefighters got to them, it was too late.
There were no working smoke detectors in the house at the time, officials added.
Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services officials say the fire was accidental and started in the kitchen.
