SMYRNA, GA — A metro Atlanta woman has been sentenced to federal prison after being accused of stealing millions of dollars in a scheme.
Federal prosecutors say Brittany Hudson was accused of stealing nearly $10 million from Amazon.
From January to June of 2022, Hudson and her partner allegedly used fake vendors and invoices to steal the money.
They are also accused of forging the signature of a former U.S. district judge on a fake court document.
The pair are accused of using the money to buy expensive real estate and vehicles, including a nearly $1 million home in Smyrna.
Hudson was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison.
