BROOKHAVEN, GA — One metro Atlanta city is adding upgraded bike racks.
Officials are putting in new bike racks all across Brookhaven.
Burke Brennan with the city of Brookhaven says nearly 200 racks will be installed at several parks and government buildings.
“Cycling is a healthy exercise and its a viable and efficient alternative transportation option. We need to create the infrastructure that makes it conducive to cycle in Brookhaven,” Brennan said.
Officials say the old bike racks will be donated to local schools.
