ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after an armed robbery turned deadly at a luxury apartment complex in Atlanta early Friday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting that left one man dead at the Mezzo Luxury Apartment Homes on Peachtree Road in Buckhead.
The identity of the victim was not released.
Police investigators say they believe armed robbery was the motive in the shooting.
After police identified a suspect vehicle using surveillance camera video, investigators say that car was soon located in Cobb County. Three men inside the vehicle have now been detained for questioning, police said.
