ATLANTA, GA — One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being involved in an incident in southwest Atlanta on Friday.
Police confirmed that a 62-year-old man was shot near Pryor Street and I-20 around 11 a.m. near what may have been a homeless encampment.
Officials said the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
Atlanta police have opened an active investigation.
