SOUTH FULTON, GA — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a wooded area in the City of South Fulton.
Officers responded after receiving reports of shots fired in a neighborhood off Scarborough Road near Welcome All Road.
Police later located the man in the woods near Blake Loop and Peynton Trail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain under investigation. Police have not announced whether the reported gunfire was connected to his death.
