Man convicted for murder with a ghost gun sentenced to life in prison

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A Decatur man has been sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted for murder with a ghost gun.

A DeKalb County jury found 27-year-old Azavier Lilly guilty in the murder of 28-year old Rashad Walker last March.

Investigators were not able to recover the gun used in the shooting. However, bullets recovered from the crime scene came from a ghost gun.

Officials say the ghost gun has individual pieces that do not have serial numbers and cannot be traced.
