DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A man who was accused of shooting another man in metro Atlanta for asking for a dollar has been sentenced to prison.
Homer Wright was accused of shooting another man at a gas station in Lithonia in 2025, according to officials.
The victim was shot in the foot.
A jury recently found Wright guilty of three counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a felony.
He was sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole.
