ATLANTA — There are reports out of New Orleans that the last of the ten inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail in May has been captured in Atlanta.
While most of the escapees were captured within weeks, 31-year old Derrick Groves remained at large for nearly five months.
He was serving life for a murder conviction.
The district attorney in New Orleans described Groves as a “cold blooded killer” with a history of violent crime.
