ATLANTA — Metro Atlanta drivers will have to deal with another full closure of I-285 this weekend as crews continue work on the Westside rebuild project.
Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation officials say all lanes will be closed in both directions between Cascade Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday and continue through before 5 a.m. Monday.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for extra travel time and consider alternate routes while the interstate is closed.
