ATLANTA — Georgia ranks among the top three states in the country for student loan debt, according to new data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
The average student loan debt per person in Georgia is more than $7,000.
Student loan debt declined in 43 states, according to the data.
Wyoming has the lowest student loan debt in the country.
