ATLANTA — Georgia is among the top 20 happiest states in the country, according to a new WalletHub ranking.
Georgia ranked No. 16 overall on this year’s list.
WalletHub compared states using 30 metrics covering health, finances, employment, safety and social factors.
Hawaii topped the list, with the highest life satisfaction, the second-lowest adult depression rate and about 84% of adults reporting good or better health.
New Jersey ranked second, followed by Utah, Idaho and Maryland.
West Virginia finished at the bottom of the list.
