CAIRO, Ga. — A Cairo police officer died while on-duty Saturday afternoon.
According to the Georgia Department of Public Safety, Master Patrol Officer Clarence “C.J.” Williams joined the department in 2020.
There is no word yet on how Williams died.
The Cairo Police Department and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
