ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia House overwhelmingly approves the state’s amended 2025 budget that includes millions for Hurricane Helene relief, state prison improvements, and school safety.
House Speaker Jon Burns praises the measure saying, “this budget reflects our commitment in the house to keep our state, the great state of Georgia, the best place to live, work, and raise a family for generations to come.”
The bill now goes to the state senate.
