MARION COUNTY, Ga. — One Georgia family had an eggs-tra special Easter after one child and his siblings finally made their family complete.
Two years ago, Elliot and Angela Turbeville gave six siblings in the foster care system the gift of family.
This year, the Turbeville’s wanted the seventh child, 4-year-old Legend, to have a ‘hoppy’ ending too.
On Easter, Legend got an egg with a new name and an official family, according to WTVM-TV.
Legend’s new legal name is William Turbeville.
Angela Turbeville said that she’s had Legend and his siblings since he was a baby. The Turbevilles’ wanted to turn it all around for the children.
“We’ve been working on adoption, since 2020, and now we’ve finalized number seven,” Angela Turbeville said.
The couple purchased a farm in Marion County to help make room for their new family.
When WTVM asked Elliot Turbeville what’s next for the family, he answered, “We’ve got a lot of help on the farm though.”
