ATLANTA — The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta welcomed two male beluga whales on Thursday.
The two whales were rescued from Marineland Canada, according to officials. The marine park closed in 2024.
Officials say Balor and Zephry are 10 and seven-years-old respectively.
They are expected to discover their new surroundings and receive all the care they need.
Officials say Balor and Zephry will remain behind the scenes until they are put into the existing beluga whale pod at a later date.
