Fourth suspect arrested in connection with Douglas County murder

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — A fourth suspect was arrested and faces in connection with a homicide in metro Atlanta in May.

Officials say the body of 37-year-old Jamal Parker of Atlanta was recovered from the Dog River Reservoir in Douglas County.

David Davonte Barber was arrested this week and also faces murder charges, officials said.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects were previously arrested. They were each charged with murder, officials said.
