Drug take back event underway at metro Atlanta police department

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Douglasville Police Department is holding a pill take back event on Saturday.

The DEA Pill Take Back event will be held at the Douglasville Police Department at 2083 Fairburn Rd. until 2 p.m.

Those interested can bring the pills and medications they do not want or need with no questions asked.

Officials say no sharps or inhalers will be accepted.
