Police search for car connected to chase, armed robberies in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County police need the public’s help finding a vehicle connected to multiple armed robberies and a pursuit that left an officer injured on Wednesday.

Police say during the pursuit, the officer slammed into the rear of the dump truck that was stopped near a construction zone at the 2000 block of Glenwood Avenue around 12:30 a.m.

According to police, the suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2016 white Nissan Maxima that police say was stolen out of Rockdale County with Florida license plate DVN3211.

DeKalb County police officials say two males inside the car were described as wearing ski masks, black hoodies and blue jeans.

The officer was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
