DEKALB COUNTY, Ga — Two people are dead after a DeKalb County apartment fire, and now officials say that it is being investigated as a possible homicide.
DeKalb Fire and Rescue officials said the fire broke out at the Brannon Hills Apartments on Baynes Hill Circle in Clarkston around 8:45 a.m.
Captain Jaeson Daniels with DeKalb Fire said when firefighters arrived, they found thick smoke in the ground-floor condo and inside a bedroom, the burned bodies of two people.
Daniels said no other condos in the building were damaged.
