DEKALB COUNTY, GA — An investigation is underway after a serious crash involving a Georgia State Patrol vehicle in metro Atlanta early Monday morning.
Authorities responded to a crash near the busy intersection of Hugh Howell Road and Mountain Industrial in DeKalb County.
Extensive damage was visible as the trooper vehicle was loaded onto a wrecker.
The intersection of Hugh Howell Road and Mountain Industrial was closed for a period of time as crews worked the scene and cleared the crash.
It is unclear if any injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
