Congressman Hank Johnson set to host resources fair in metro Atlanta

DECATUR, GA — A much-needed community resources fair aimed at connecting metro Atlanta residents with resources and services available is scheduled this week.

The Fourth Sources Resource Fair is set to be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Sanford Realty Complex located at 4183 Snapfinger Woods Drive in Decatur.

Congressman Hank Johnson and DeKalb County Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson are planning to bring community organizations, government agencies, workforce partners, and healthcare providers together during the event.

“Even when Congress is not in session, my work for the people of Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District never stops,” Johnson said. “While hardworking Americans and Georgians continue to bear the cost of Republicans’ cruel and irresponsible policies, I’m working here at home to directly benefit the constituents I am honored to serve.”

According to officials, residents will have access to resources from organizations including the Atlanta Community Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul, STAND Inc., Partnership for Community Action, First African CDC, DeKalb Workforce Bus, Georgia Power, and more.
