COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office has launched an internal investigation after a deputy shot and killed a dog while serving an arrest warrant.
According to the sheriff’s office, the deputy encountered what was described as an aggressive dog during the incident.
The deputy fired one shot, killing the dog.
The sheriff’s office said the case remains an active internal investigation into the deputy’s use of force.
