CLARKE COUNTY, Ga. — Clarke County Schools said the district will be going to mask-optional in schools by the end of the month.
The district said visitors will also be allowed back on campuses for meetings and events.
Clarke County Schools said masks will still need to be worn on school buses.

The district also reiterated that it may reinstate mask wearing at schools if cases of COVID-19 go back up.
They also said the district will be strongly encouraging mask wearing at any large school-based events or gatherings.
