CLARKE COUNTY, Ga. — Athens-Clarke Police rescued a 12-year-old girl who was kidnapped in Alabama.
Police in Enterprise, Alabama issued a missing child alert for the girl after a man kidnapped her at her home.
Police identified the man as 21-year-old Alvaro Salvador.

Investigators warned the public and other law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for Salvador’s 2017 GMC Acadia.
Around 7 p.m. Thursday night, Athens police located Salvador and his car. Officers rescued the 12-year-old and took Salvador into custody.
Police arrested and charged him locally with kidnapping. Salvador will face addition pending charges in Alabama.
